One Mr. Ibrahim Olusa, his wife and 3 children have been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen while returning to Abuja after the Easter break on Tuesday. The kidnapped victims are from Ajowa Akoko North West Local Government of Ondo State.
The incidence took place between Ajowa Akoko in Ondo State and Ayere in Kogi State.
Sources from within the family said the kidnappers have contacted them and are demanding for 10million naira as ransom before they can be released.
The robbery and kidnapping along the road have been attributed to the deplorable section belonging to Kogi state.
A resident who is also the past chairman of Ajowa Community Council, Mr Ajayi Bakare, appealed to government to rehabilitate the road to prevent future occurrences.
