Former England and Liverpool midfielder, Steven Garrard, has been appointed as Aston Villa Manager on a three and half year contract.

Gerrard replaces Dean Smith after the premier league club sacked him after five consecutive defeats.

Gerrard has been Rangers manager since June 2018 and won the Scottish Premiership last season

Villa’s next fixture is a home match against Brighton on Saturday 20th of November.
