Israel Adesanya Knocks Out Pereira; Regains UFC Middleweight Belt

 

Israel Adesanya defeated longtime adversary Alex Pereira by knockout to reclaim the UFC middleweight title, on Sunday morning in Miami.

In order to exact revenge on Pereira, who had stripped him of his middleweight title with a TKO in the final round last November, Adesanya entered the fight.

However, Adesanya overcame his most recent loss to reclaim the UFC middleweight championship by ruthlessly dispatching Pereira in the second round.

Adesanya and Pereira were squaring off for the fourth time, and former US President Donald Trump, Mike Tyson, UFC President Dana White, among many others, were in attendance.
