Isokan South LCDA Turns Sod Of Council Secretariat

The official foundation laying of a new permanent secretariat building of Isokan South Local Council Development Area, Orita-Ijebu, Ikoyi-Osun undoubtedly will remain an indelible memory in the heart of the people and residents of the Council.

Chairman of the Council, Prince Wasiu Oyelami said this during the foundation laying of the council secretariat, saying the LCDA is already taking up the basic needs of the rural dwellers who are yearning for peoples-oriented projects.

The ceremony for the foundation laying was chaired by Dr. Peter Babalola, an APC Chieftain and the Chairman Osun State Local Government Service Commission who lauded the initiative of the council to build a befitting secretariat.

Babalola reiterated that the initiative was part of the government efforts in providing conducive environment for official engagement and public services.

Oyelami  and Babalola expressed their profound gratitude to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Governor, State of Osun for his visionary and purposive leadership which culminated into the creation of Isokan South LCDA Ikoyi, with other additional councils and Administrative offices across the state.

Babalola who also doubled as the chief launcher urged all eligible voters to vote for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election holding on September, 22nd, 2018, just as he made personal donation of N500,000 towards the construction of the council.
