Irish rock star and the Cranberries lead singer, Dolores O’Riordan, has died suddenly at the age of 46.
The news was announced by her publicist, saying that Irish rock star, who has recently been performing with a band called D.A.R.K, died in London where she had been recording.
Her publicist did not reveal details on how she died, only saying it was ‘sudden’ and that her family is ‘devastated’.
However the Police disclosed to the MailOnline that O’Riordan was found dead on Monday in a room of the Hilton London in Park Lane at 9.05am, and that the death was being treated as ‘unexplained’.
In a report by TMZ, it was revealed that Dolores tried taking her life by OD’ing back in 2013, saying she had suffered from depression and ultimately a mental breakdown. She was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Dolores said she believed some of her emotional problems emanated from being abused as a child.
