The Hon. Rasaq Salinsile led faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun has mourned the passage of a prominent member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mr Tunde Adeyemo.
In a condolence message signed by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Abiodun Agboola, APC described Adeyemo as an assiduous practitioner of journalism who made the profession attractive to non journalists either through his reporting or presentation.
According to Agboola, it is painful that a distinguished journalist with passion for the important professsion has to pass on so suddenly and at an unripe age.
Agboola condoled with the immediate family of the deceased, OSBC where he worked and the NUJ family.
He called on journalists and oncoming journalists in the state to study and emulate Adeyemo’s style and use it as their own way in practice.
Agboola called on the NUJ to immortalise Adeyemo, saying he was a good representative of journalism profession, who incidentally died as a serving chapel chairman.
The APC spokesperson urged the family, friends, relatives and journalists to take heart and pray God to give all of them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant his soul a repose.
