Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has restated his total commitment to the cohesion of his party, the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) at both the state and national levels.
Governor Oyetola stated this on Tuesday while playing host to FEMALE ASPIRANTS, STATE OF OSUN, a group of women within the state chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) in his office in Osogbo.
The Governor who described women as more consistent in politics when compared to their male counterparts, commended the group for staying together thus far since the year 2015 when they came together and resolved to put the interest of their party first in everything they do which he stressed is very commendable.
Mr. Oyetola assured the female politicians that his administration will not rest on his oars at ensuring the cohesion of the party as evident with a policy since made which states that most things he will be doing by way of appointments and others will be done through the party, maintaining that without the political party, there cannot be government.
Earlier in her remarks, the Coordinator of the female group, Mrs. Taiwo Oluga commended the Governor for his impressive performance with his first 100 days in office despite the obvious lean financial resources in the land.
Mrs. Oluga who is equally the House of Representatives member elect for Irewole, Isokan and Ayedaade Federal Constituency, stated that they were with the Governor to identify with his administration and offer themselves to join hands with him in his quest to take the Land of Virtue to the next level.
