Members of the All Progressives Congress in Ilesa East Local Government Area of the State of Osun came out to elect leaders of the party, at a well attended Congress on Saturday in Ilesa.

Members of the party were seen singing and jubilating after the counting of votes and winners announced by the electoral officers.
It will be recalled that a caucus of the party loyal the state governor, has said it wanted consensus while those belonging to The Osun Progressives maintained that the party guidelines mandating elections when consensus can not be generally accepted must be sustained.
