Ile Ife Agog For Children’s Day Celebration

No fewer than 1,000 school pupils in Ile Ife on Monday joined their mates nationwide to commemorate this year edition of Children’s Day.

Amidst colorful display by the pupils of both public and private schools participating at the Palace of Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwunsi who hosted the children’s day.

The pupils marched in colourful sportswear at the event.

The Ooni  urged parents to spend more time with their children and wards in order to ensure a better society and an assured future for the children.

He said the celebration reminds not only leaders at all levels of the need to prioritise the welfare of every Nigerian child but parents the need to spend more valuable time with children.
