The authority of Ife East Local Government has directed the allottees of parcels of land at the Erinta Residential Scheme (formerly Oranmiyan Planning Authority Scheme) to produce their originals and photocopies of the documents on the plots allocated to them in the scheme for verification.

According to a statement, the verification was necessary to determine who among the allottees have violated the terms and conditions for the allotment, with a view to charting the way forward for the development of the scheme.

It reads, “This is to inform members of the general public that all the allottees at Erinta Residential Scheme of Ife East Local Government, Oke-Ogbo, Ile-Ife (formerly  Oranmiyan Planning Authority Scheme) to produce the original and photocopy of the documents on the plots allocated to them in the Scheme to the Head of Town Planning and Land Services Department  of the council on or before the 30th of October 2017.

“Documents to be produced, are, letter of allocation by the Local Government; letter of Transfer /Sublease from the Local Government (if any); three years ground rent payment receipt (2015, 2016 and 2017) of the Local Government; and, approved building plan by the Local Government Authority.

“Failure to produce the above listed items, means the allottee is no longer interested in the plot allocated to him/her.

“All the allottees who had failed to develop the plot/plots allocated to them into HABITABLE LEVEL within the 24 months from the date of allocation had been revoked with immediate effect. Please note that ordinary foundation, farming and fencing is not acceptable in this respect and it contravenes the terms and conditions of offer and acceptance of the allocation/lease”, the statement read.
