Gift Monday Receives NWFL Premiership Player Of The Month Award

 

FC Robo Queens forward Gift Monday has received her NWFL Premiership December Player of the month award at the Legacy Football Pitch on Wednesday afternoon.

The former C.O.D Ladies striker was presented with the award just before the week 4 game between FC Robo Queens and Pelican Stars which ended 5-1 in favour of the ‘Lagos Landladies’.

Monday gained 60% of the votes from women football experts and became the first recipient of the prestigious award in the 2021 season of the NWFL Premiership.

Speaking after receiving the award, the Super Falcons player was grateful to her teammates and manager for giving her the support needed.

” This award means alot to me and my career. I am grateful to God almighty and of course my teammates who gave me all the supports needed to succeed.

“The technical crew, backroom staff and all supporters of FC Robo Queens for pushing the team towards greatness always.”

Monday Gift and Bayelsa Queens Manager Moses Aduku both won the NWFL Premiership player and manager of the month of December.
