Supporters of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church (ECG) leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary who were arrested for fraud and money laundering in South Africa went spiritual outside the Pretoria Commercial Crimes Court as he and his wife appeared on alleged fraud and money laundering charges in Pretoria court.
Recall that the controversial prophet was arrested by the Hawks in Rustenburg, North West province.
The Hawks’ case against the pair, concerns alleged offences of fraud, money laundering and contravention of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act. (POCA), committed from 2015, in relation to Exchange Control Regulations related to foreign currency in an amount of US$1 147 200.
