The former military administrator of the State of Osun, Rtd Colonel Anthony Obi is dead. He died on Saturday 1st January 2022 around 6:00 pm.
Obi was Osun’s administrator between August 1996 to August 1998, after which he was appointed as military administrator of Abia State.
In a statement issued by the Obi family on Sunday to announce his death, the family described him as a loving husband and a devoted father who instilled love, discipline, and humility in all he did on his time on earth.
The burial arrangement will be announced by the family in due time.
