A former Students’ Union President of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Ajao Samson, also known as Impeccable, has embarked on the longest reading marathon in his quest to set a new Guinness World Record.
The marathon kicked off at Adolak Conference Hall in Osogbo on Monday, May 6, and is expected to run until May 14, 2024.

He had earlier announced his ambitious plan to undertake a 214-hour read-a-thon.
As observed by our correspondent on his Facebook page, he started a 214-hour read-a-thon at exactly 11 am on Monday.
As of press time, he has already surpassed two hours.
