Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Thursday, said his administration spent N1.5m each on the 332 boreholes drilled across wards in the state.
The Governor made this known during the maiden Senatorial town hall meeting ‘Ipade Imole’.
Adeleke said the boreholes are functioning and serving the immediate needs of the Osun people.
He said, “Our administration conceived of 332 boreholes across the 332 political wards as an intervention measure.
“Each borehole costs one million, five hundred thousand naira. The boreholes are functioning and serving the immediate water needs of our people.”
