The residence of the Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Samson Odedina, was gutted by fire destroying items valued at millions of Naira.
The house located at Kemta Idi-Aba Area of Abeokuta was said to have caught fire on Thursday.
The cause of the fire incident could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
However, it was learnt that the firefighters worked nonstop, to contain the situation.
Confirming the incident, Odedina appreciated God that no life was lost in the incident, even as properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
