Following the qualification of the Super Eagles into the playoff round of the FIFA 2022 World Cup, Nigeria’s likely opponents have been revealed.
The playoff draws will take place in December with CAF using the FIFA ranking to seed the teams.
The Super Eagles are among the top five ranked countries, following their 1-1 draw with Cape Verde on Tuesday.
The other highly ranked teams include Morocco, Senegal, Algeria, and Tunisia.
The lower five are Egypt, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During the draw for the play-off, one country from the top five (Pot A) will be paired against one from the bottom five (Pot B).

BOTTOM 5 (Pot B)
Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Ghana, and DR Congo.
