FIFA WCQ: Nigeria Thrash Cameroon 4 Goals To Nothing

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday demolished the Indomitable lions of Cameroon 4-0 during the FIFA World Cup qualifiers match played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom.

The goals were scored by striker Odion Ighalo, Captain John Mikel Obi, Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses and Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho.

Odion Ighalo put Nigeria ahead after receiving a fine pass from John Obi Mikel in the 29th minute.

John Mikel Obi added the second on the 42 minute.

Moses Simon assisted the third goal scored by Victor Moses in the 55th minute.

Kelechi Iheanacho punished the Indomitable Lions with a fine header in the 76th minute.

Nigeria lead the group with 9 points from three game, followed by Cameroon with two points while Zambia and Algeria are on one point each.
