Federal Government Special Public Works Successful Applicants Protest

 

Applicants of the special public works (SPW) also known as 774,000 that have passed all the necessary screening and names published protest delay on their unpaid monthly N20,000 stipend months after the kick off.

The SPW is one of the adhoc programmes designed and rolled out by the federal government through the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

The programme was inagurated on January 5 and it was designed as a stop gap programme for interested jobless Nigerians for just 3 months.

You will recall that qualified 1000 youths were already selected from each local government across the country in line with the directive of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
