Fasure, Baderinwa Bag Man Of Valour Award

The Media Adviser to the immediate past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Mr. Sola Fasure has bagged Man of Valour award.

The award was conferred on him by Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA), in Osogbo, on Wednesday.

Mr. Adelani Baderinwa, the Spokesperson to the first National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, was also conferred with the Man of Valour Award by the same association.

Speaking after receiving the award, Fasure appreciated the OOPA gesture, commending members of the association for their commitment to journalism.

Fasure charged the online publishers to strive to attain a standard where readers would be forced to subscribe to their individual’s blogs.

He promised his support for the association, stating that he would be available for them for professional service.

In his address, Baderinwa, a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Osun State, commended OOPA for keeping members of the public informed; just as he charged them on the need to put more effort in fact checking and getting quality content.

Baderinwa who was represented by the Editor of Osun Defender newspaper, Mr. Ismaeel Uthman, thanked the association for the award.
