Famodun Commiserates With Aregbesola, Others Over Iya Ajinde’s Death

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Prince Gboyega Famodun, has commiserated with a minister-designate, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the leadership and entire members of the party in Ilesa-East Local Government Council Area of the state over the death of Mrs Florence Adekunle Eniola popularly known as ‘Iya Ajinde’.

The APC state chairman in a statement issued by his Media Consultant, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo today pleaded with Aregbesola and the APC family members in the local government to take heart over the sudden death of the exceptionally strong and loyal female APC chieftain who gave her all to advance the course of the party when she was alive.

Famodun enjoined the bereaved political leaders and members to take solace under the divine saying that ‘it’s God that giveth and taketh life’, an episode which is beyond the comprehension of any mortal.

He stated further that the departed had succeeded in running a good race in life without blemish which is beimg attested to by those who were intimately close to her.

Famodun tasked other women in politics particularly of APC extraction to learn from the virtues of the fallen political titan because of what the people would say about them after they might have finished their own race in life.

The party chairman described Iya Ajinde as a team player who was always identifying with the programmes of the party across the state.

He explained that the vacuum left behind in the progressive  political circle in Ijesaland through the demise of Iya Ajinde would be pretty difficult to fill.

Famodun prayed to God for the dependants of the deceased to be provided with fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, adding that sudden and untimely death would not be the portion of any APC member in Ijesaland in particular and the entire state again.

According to him, “Iya Ajinde was a complete loyal party woman who was always working for the success and advancement of our party in her local government.

“There is no way our party can forget the positive contributions of people like the deceased towards our past and current success story across the state”, the party chairman said.
