Former Manchester United head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed he has been offered the opportunity to return to the dugout for the first time since he was sacked by the Red Devils.
Solskjaer has been out of work since Manchester United fired him nearly two years ago.
The Norwegian has been barely linked with any managerial jobs since then.
The 50-year-old, however, did emerge as a surprise contender to take the reins at Leicester City over the summer, but in the end, former Manchester City assistant coach, Enzo Maresca got the job.
Solskjaer was also rumoured to have been offered the job of coaching the Norway women’s national football team.
The position has been vacant since Norway suffered an early elimination at the 2023 Women’s World Cup over the summer.

But, Solskjaer has now claimed that he has already turned down the chance to coach the team.
Speaking to Norwegian outlet NRK, Solskjaer said: “Yes, I have spoken to the association about the job as national coach – of course I have it. They have asked. But I am not ready for that yet.”
Solskjaer made 67 caps for Norway men’s national team during his playing career, scoring 23 goals.
