Oghenekaro Etebo is thrilled after having his first training with his new English Championship side, Stoke City at their pre-season training camp in Germany.
Etebo signed a five-year deal with the Potters shortly after the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia where he was one of Nigeria’s standout performers at the tournament.
The 22 year old took to his Instagram page on Monday to reveal that he was impressed with first training session and eager for the new challenge in the new season.
“Good first day at training, pleased to be here and excited for the challenge ahead. #EK# StokeCity,” Etebo wrote on his Instagram page on Monday.
Stoke City got relegated from the English Premier League to the English Championship last season.
Etebo joined Stoke City from Portuguese side Feriense after spending two years at the club. He played four seasons for Nigerian Professional Football League club Warri Wolves before leaving the shores of the country.
