Enyimba Make Road Trip To Abidjan For CAF Confed Cup Clash Vs Williamsville

Enyimba of Aba will leave Lagos today (Friday) for Abidjan by road for their CAF Confederation Cup matchday four fixture against Williamsville Athletic Club of Cote’d Ivoire this Sunday at the Felix Houphouet- Boigny Stadium.

The two-time CAF Champions League winners who won the reverse leg of the tie 1-0 last week were originally billed to fly ASKY Airline until their flight was unfavourably rescheduled.

The seven time winners of the Nigeria Professional Football League arrived Lagos from Owerri Friday night by road and will depart for Abidjan by road, CSN gathered from a club source.

Enyimba currently lead Group C of the competition on six points and another win will move them closer to the semifinal.

Williamsville and Djoliba of Mali are tied on four points but the Ivorian club occupy the second spot in the group with a superior goal difference of +1.

CARRA Brazzaville are fourth in the table with three points from three games.

The game will be Usman Abd’allah’s first game in charge of the People’s Elephant after he took over from Paul Aigbogun who resigned on Monday.
