#EndSars: Osun Civil Societies Condemns Attack On Gov Oyetola

The Coalition of Civil Society groups in Osun has condemned in strong term the attack on the Governor of the State, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola when he was addressing EndSARS protesters at the Olaiya Junction in Osogbo, capital of the State of Osun on Saturday.

The groups in a statement by its Chairman, Comrade Waheed Lawal said “the reprehensible attack was orchestrated by some hoodlums who had infiltrated the EndSARS protesters.”

It dissociated itself from the attack calling on security operatives to fish out the perpetrators.

“We dissociate ourselves from the attack, and anybody that participated in it.

“We call on the security agencies to investigate the circumstances that led to the attack and the earlier assaults on the EndSARS protesters today and that of Thursday by armed thugs.”
