Eid-il-Kabir: APP Candidate Calls For Sacrifice, Love and Service

Action Peoples Party (APP) Senatorial candidate In Osun Central during the 2019 election, Prophet Adebisi Mukaila Micheal has congratulated Muslims on the celebration of Eid-il-Kabir, urging them to imbibe the lessons of the period.

In his sallah message to all Muslims, Prophet Micheal said the culture of sacrifice, trust in God, peaceful coexistence, service to humanity and love which the celebration exemplified should be imbibed by all.

According to him, Sallah celebration is symbolic in the history of mankind, given the patience and perseverance of Prophet Ibrahim, and the rewards that followed.

The APP candidate urged Nigerians to draw lessons from the prophet’s examples by doing away with tendencies that could destroy the unity and stability of the country.

“The Eid-il-Kabir celebration reminds us of the sacrifice we are expected to make for the progress of our state and the country in general. It is the same sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim that has now become an annual celebration.

“What it means is that what is important for us at this time is to make sacrifice for the development of our state and the country at large with a view to ensuring peace, unity and progress of our nation”.

“It is my belief that if the virtue of sacrifice and love displayed by the Prophet Ibrahim are replicated by every one of us, the greatness Nigeria desires is assured”.

Prophet Micheal then urged Nigerians to take advantage of the celebration to supplicate for enhanced peace, security and progress of the country.

He then congratulated the Governor of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola; his predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; Senator representing Osun Central, Ajibola Basiru; the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Rasheed Olabomi, and other traditional rulers as well as his supporters across the state.
