Former Governor of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has congratulated Muslims the world over on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr marking the end of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement, Aregbesola urged Muslims to remain pious and committed to the ideals of Islam even after the Holy month.
He said the outgone month presented an opportunity for Muslims to rekindle their faith and eschew all forms of actions that can deplete their reward after the month.
Ogbeni Aregbesola also tasked adherents of Islam to embrace the acts of giving and obedience to Allah and refrain from sins as they did in the last month.
“May Allah accept all our Ibadah this Ramadan.
“Lessons on peaceful coexistence and virtuous living have been learnt, May Allah make it easy for us to follow it through.”
Eid Mubarak.”
