Egbedore South LCDA Distributes Agric Tools, Seeds To Farmers

Honourable Akeem Adekola Ajao’s administration in Egbedore South Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has lifted the spirits of farmers in the council by distributing agriculture materials to them.

The materials which were distributed at the secretariat of the LCDA in Ido Osun include spraying machines, pesticides, cutlasses and maize seeds among others.

The chairman in his address said the gesture was aimed at supporting the state government in ensuring that the people are well fed, saying, Osun can develop to the level of feeding the country as time goes on.

The council boss enjoined the farmers to work hard as it is possible to export farm produce to other countries, just as he appealed to farmers to use the items distributed for the purpose of increasing agricultural production.

Ajao also used the occasion to remind the farmers and all present to vote massively for the APC in the state so that they can continue to enjoy dividends of democracy.

The APC Chairman in the LCDA, Honourable Fawande pointed out that the impact of Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration has been felt in Egbedore South and the council chairman has also complemented the efforts through his programmes and projects.

According to him, the council boss has demonstrated his love for the party and the masses, saying, it is now left for the people of Egbedore South to reciprocate the good gesture by voting for APC in subsequent elections.

Fawande advised the chairman and the parliamentarians, as well as the Administrator of the Okinni Administrative Office to work hand in hand so that the people can enjoy more of dividends of democracy.

Dignitaries at the occasion includes, royal fathers, political functionaries, party leaders, the council manager of the council, Alhaji Badru Kolapo, heads of departments and some staffers of the LCDA.
