The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulkarim Chukkol, has appointed renowned journalist, Dele Oyewale as the spokesperson for the anti-graft agency.
It was learnt that the appointment is with immediate effect from Thursday, September 28, 2023.
According to reports, Oyewale was appointed as the EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, while the former spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, was redeployed as the acting Director of Public Affairs.
Uwujaren confirmed the development, saying, “Yes, I’ve been appointed as the acting Director of Public Affairs for the EFCC.”
