Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested a suspected currency counterfeiting syndicate involving a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Idris Yusuf, alongside Hassan Abubakar and Ibrahim Yusuf.
This was reveal by the agency official twitter page on Friday, stated that the trio were arrested on Thursday, January 12, in New Nyanya, Nassarawa State, following intelligence obtained on their suspitcious counterfeiting activities.
EFCC added that they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
