Default Fee: Imo Judiciary Excludes JUSUN Strike Period From Computation Of Time

The Chief Judge of Imo State has directed that the period of the strike of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, 6th April to 14th June, shall not be included in the computation of time for purpose of payment of default fees.

This is contained in a circular signed by Chief Registrar of the state, C. N. Okereke, Esq.

PLEASE NOTE THAT JUSUN STRIKE WHICH COMMENCED ON THE 6TH DAY OF APRIL, 2021 HAS JUST BEEN CALLED OFF.

TAKE NOTICE THEREFORE THAT THE HON. THE AG. CHIEF JUDGE, HON. JUSTICE I.O. AGUGUA HAS DIRECTED THAT THE PERIOD – 6TH APRIL, 2021 – 14TH JUNE, 2021 – SHALL BE EXCLUDED IN THE COMPUTATION OF DEFAULT FEES WHERE EVER APPLICABLE.

PLEASE CIRCULATE AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE.

THE PRACTICE DIRECTION SIGNED BY THE AG. CHIEF JUDGE WILL BE CIRCULATED ON TUESDAY THE 15TH DAY OF JUNE, 2021.
