Dauda: We Hope To Defeat Bidvest Wits In Jo’burg

Enyimba goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has promised that the team will give their all for a win in tonight’s CAF Confederation Cup play-offs fixture against their hosts Bidvest Wits of South Africa.

The Peoples Elephant will look to gain a foothold in the tie when they face Bidvest Wits at the Milpark Stadium, Johannesburg

Dauda, a former Ghanaian international, stated that the Enyimba are way prepared and are earnestly keen to maintain their perfect run after edging out Energie FC of Benin Republic home and away in the former round.

“It is an important game for us and we are all prepared to beat them (Bidvest Wits) in their stadium,” Dauda told CSN.

“I’m aware no club from Nigeria has won the Confederattion Cup and but we are determined to change all that this year.

“But first we have to make it to the group stages first and take it one game at a time.”
