Civil Servants Advised to Imbibe the Culture of Cleanliness

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Sanitation and Physical Planning in the State of Osun, Dr. Temitope Oladele (mni) has enjoined civil servants in the state to take every Thursday’s environmental sanitation exercise more seriously.

Dr. Oladele gave this admonition in Osogbo today, during the weekly environmental sanitation exercise declared for operators of business premises, shop owners and office workers became imperative, as part of the six-point Integral Action plan of the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola government.

In the same vein, Dr. Oladele also admonished that, every Thursday, between the hours of 8:00am to 10:00am should be used to sweep the surroundings, cut out weeds and maintain public utilities and conveniences.

He also advised them to imbibe the culture of cleanliness at home to curb the outbreak of communicable diseases.

Dr. Oladele warned that, those who refused to comply with the directive shall face the full wrath of the law.
