Celebrities Help Hurricane Victims Raise Millions Of Dollars

Celebrities came together on Tuesday night to raise millions of dollars for those affected by the hurricane. Celebrities at the hour-long special which included performances and messages from A-list celebrities including: Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Diddy, Hilary Duff, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong’o ‘Bruce Willis, Kelly Rowland Kerry Washington  George Clooney, Cher, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx among many others.

Justin Bieber helped spread the gospel and show his love for Christ by praying for the victims during the event.

The celebrities spoke to viewers on phone to donate to help with relief from the disastrous storms that hit the southern US.

Beyonce, Selena Gomez, The Rock and Will Smith also recorded a video message, asking people to come together to help one another.

Legendary singer, Stevie Wonder kicked off the one-hour special that aired on all major networks, with a rendition of Lean On Me with a gospel choir. Tori Kelly and Despacito’s Luis Fonsi also sang a bilingual version of Hallelujah for the Hand in Hand hurricane relief telethon.

The benefit gathering was closed by Demi Lovato, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and CeCe Winans who ended the special with a rousing rendition of The Beatles’ With a Little Help from My Friends.

According to reports, more than $14 million was raised during the one-hour special.
