Cash Transfer Programme Receives Boost In Osun

Governor, State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has commended the Federal Government on the progress being recorded by the Cash Programme Initiative of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Governor Aregbesola who was represented by the Coordinator, State of Osun Operation Coordinating Unit of the Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO), Mr. Olufemi Ifaturoti stated this at the Mining of Selected Beneficiaries by the State Cash Transfer Unit (SCTU) from the Single Register of the Poor and Vulnerable Households painstakingly generated by the Community Based Targeting (CBT) process of Osun YESSO.

Mr. Ifaturoti who spoke through the Head of Operations, SOCU, Mr. Sola Adetoye maintained that the credibility of the Single Register of the Poor and Vulnerable Households generated by the CBT process of Osun YESSO through dint of hard work could not be overemphasized.

He then enjoined the State Cash Transfer Unit (SCTU) to make the best use of the list of beneficiaries, mined for the social safety net programme to get to the intended beneficiaries.

In her reaction at the event, the Head, SCTU, Mrs. Adeola Oyebamiji commended the State Government of Osun through the SOCU of Osun YESSO for the supports received which has seen the Cash Transfer Programme record significant progress in its activities.
