One of the frontline gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of Peoples democratic party (PDP), Akogun Lere Oyewumi has stepped down his ambition and endorsed the guber ambition of Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Dr. Oyewumi, made the declaration today, at an enlarged meeting of his campaign organization.
He said he made the interest in the overall interest of the party.
Oyewumi, who boasted of 1,200 delegates going into Saturday’s primary election, said his union with Senator Adeleke is a major milestone in the history of the party.
The meeting also had in attendance Senator Ademola Adeleke, Dr. Deji Adeleke, Chief SB Babalola, Hon. Niyi Owolade, and other members of the Adeleke group.
