Major aspirants at the ongoing Special National Convention of the All Progressives Congress APC, to elect the flagbearer of the party for the 2023 elections have stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The aspirants that stepped down include, the governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi, the former governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, the former speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Baderu, former governor of Akwa Ibom Godswill Akapbio, and Senator Ajayi Borofiice.
The aspirants announced their decision to step down for Tinubu at the venue of the ongoing APC Special Convention at the Eagle Square Abuja.
