BREAKING: APC Announces New Date For Presidential Primaries, Others

The All Progressives Congress has announced new date for its presidential primaries and all other primary elections.

This was revealed in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party Felix Morka.

The new dates were approved by the party’s National Working Committee at its meeting on Wednesday.

The presidential primaries initially scheduled for May 30 to June 1 is now to hold between May 29 and 30.

The party moved the governorship and house of representatives primaries to Thursday, 26th of May, 2022, while the senate and house of assembly primaries will hold on Friday, 27th of May, 2022.

According to the statement, the appeals for the governorship and house of representatives primaries will hold on May 27, while that of the primaries for the senate and house of assemblies will take place the next day.

With the new development, the APC and the main opposition party the Peoples Democratic Party will hold their presidential primaries on the same day.
