A Brazilian man, 30-year-old Bruno Monteiro committed suicide on Snapchat by jumping off a bridge allegedly after getting into a fight with his woman. This would be the first time someone commits suicide on Snapchat unlike Facebook where several murders and suicides have been streamed life.
In a video, Bruno is seen cursing a woman believed to be his girlfriend or wife. Another user of the app, who was also on the bridge showed a couple of bikers tried to stop him from committing suicide but he went ahead to jump off the Rio-Niterói Bridge. Bruno’s belongings were later collected by the PRF.
The authorities are yet to give an official statement on the suicide.
