As expected, the BET Awards had all the drama, surprise and entertainment that comes with prestigious award ceremonies in the entertainment industry all around the world.

Eminem, who is by far the most successful white rapper created the drama when he savaged Donald Trump as a racist and warned fans not to support the US president as the rap superstar appeared at the BET Hip Hop Awards broadcast Tuesday, ending the video by demanding that his fans forswear Trump.

“Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his — I’m drawing a line in the sand / You’re either for or against,” he said.

Cardi B’s success was the surprise factor of the event as the new artist won 5 awards out of 9 nominations, lead Kendrick Lamar who had 4 and DJ Khaled winning 3.

It was probably a disappointment that Kendrick who stole the show at the MTV Video Award had only 4 awards for the night, but fans say it could not have been as disappointing as that of DJ Khaled whose album had everyone talking.
