A governorship aspirant under the banner of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, in Bauchi State, Dr. Sama’ila Dahuwa, has dumped NNPP for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Announcing his defection along with his supporters, at a press conference at NUJ secretariat in Bauchi on Monday, Dahuwa said he left NNPP due to injustice and a lack of focus in the party.
He said he joined the APC because of its structure and manifestoes.
Dahuwa promised to help APC candidates win all elections in 2019.
He called on the party to recognise and carry his supporters who defected with him along so that they would have a sense of belonging.
