Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation AGF celebrates the reason behind the foundation, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Akanbi Adekunle Tinubu as he marks his 68th anniversary in the land of the living.

Olateju Adunni Ishola, who coordinates the group nationally in a statement celebrated the elder statesman for showing the world and many what it takes to be committed to the true ideals of progressivism in-spite of the numerous hiccups in the murky water of politics.

Ishola, in a statement on Saturday eulogized the celebrator who he described as an enigma, astute politician and a dogged fighter for the masses whose lifestyle is worthy of emulation by all standards.

“As the Asiwaju of the universe adds a Year to celebrate 68 solid years of impacting in the lives of many leaders, all members of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation; AGF with a deep sense of commitment to the promotion of the ideals embedded in the style, sagacity and dexterity of our patron share in the joy of his birthday.”

“Our father adds a Year today. He is someone words fail us to qualify. His radicalism and dexterity even in the face of perilous and challenging battles he has fought to protect and preserve our democracy.”

“A shining star in all ramifications. Asiwaju has shown the world that through politics, national cohesion is realistic. A non-ethnic or religious bigot, avid thinker and reader, prudent financial administrator of note and one with a Midas touch everywhere.”

“His footprints in the sands of time in Lagos as Senator and Governor further attests to the fact of being the beacon of hope for the masses. He is an extraordinary, purpose driven and intelligentsia of note; a virtue that has kept him strong and relevant in the political landscape of the most populous black nation.”

“There’s nothing more to say than describing our father, leader and mentor as well as our patron other than that he is the pillar of Nigeria’s Democracy. He has shown through his leadership to be someone we look up to continue President Buhari’s Next Level Agenda.”
