An Arewa group under the Arewa APC Vanguard has bashed Zamfara State’s governor, Dauda Lawal for calling for President Bola Tinubu’s resignation over the issue of his alleged certificate forgery, which is before the Supreme Court.
The group described Governor Dauda Lawal’s action as contempt of court, saying that the call by the governor was malicious, provocative, and destructive.
In a press statement by Arewa APC Vanguard’s chairman, Jonathan Audu said President Bola Tinubu was massively voted for by Nigerians and should be allowed to continue implementing the good policies he has initiated towards improving the standard of living of the common man.
Audu described the governor as a puppet of the cabals of the former administration who is executing their bidding to distract President Tinubu’s attention from his good works.
“We would like to use this medium to advise Governor Dauda to concentrate on delivering his campaign promises to the displaced people of Zamfara, who are being killed, kidnapped, and raped on a daily basis by bloodthirsty bandits as a result of his consistent bad leadership style,” the statement reads.
Audu further advised the people of Zamfara State to remain in high spirits and pray, as their suffering will soon end under the able administration of President Bola Tinubu.
