Minister Of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Friday unveiled the NIS National Border Management Strategy Document, 2019-2023.
The strategy document will help enhance national security, contribute to national economic development, reinforce social harmony, protect human rights and vulnerable migrants.
This just as he declared open, a Senior Management Retreat of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS (@nigimmigration) in Lagos.
The 3-day retreat is strategically put in place to retune the perspective of participants who are ACGs & DCGs drawn from the 8 Zonal Offices and HQ in Abuja.
Aregbesola said huge infrastructure, cutting edge technology and seemingly impregnable fortresses are useless without humans acting as moral agents and in the best interest of their country.
