Aregbesola Unveils 4th Batch Of 20,000 OYES Cadets

Governor Rauf Aregbesola will any moment from now preside over the official inauguration of the 4th batch of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme O’YES.

Since inception in 2011 as a pivotal arm of the Banish Unemployment action plan of the present administration in the State of Osun, the scheme has employed 60, 000 unemployed Youths.

The OYES initiative launched 100 days into the Aregbesola administration has been a reference point of ideal way of Youth Empowerment which has been adopted by the World Bank as YESSO and the Federal Government under the N-POWER scheme.

Reports from Osogbo Township Stadium, venue of the event indicates a large turnout of both old and new OYES Cadets who are direct beneficiaries of the scheme.

Expected at the event are the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and other dignitaries who are gracing the event.
