Activities marking the Year 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebrations will start on Monday, January 8, 2018 with the Emblem Appeal Launching and Decoration of the Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and other dignitaries.
A press statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, who is also the Chairman of the Events Planning Committee, stated that, the event will take place in front of the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Oke-Fia, Osogbo.
On Friday, January 12, 2018 there will be Jumat Service at the Central Mosque, Oja-Oba, Osogbo, while the Church Service to commemorate the occasion would take place on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Gbodofon, Osogbo.
