Appeal Court Strikes Out Lagos’ Bid To Suspend Hijab Use

The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos Tuesday struck out an application by the Lagos State Government seeking an injunction to suspend hijab use by Muslim female pupils in public schools in the state.

A three-man panel of the court ruled that the proper place for the application to be heard was at the Supreme Court in Abuja.
