Anjor Mary, Gift Monday Nominated As NWFL Set To Award Players

The Nigerian Women Football League might be winding up with relegation and survival battles already settled, the league is now set to reward outstanding players during the course of the season.

The list of nominees for different categories to be awarded was released on the official twitter handle of the Nigerian Women Football League.

According to the tweet, former Osun Babes striker, AnjorMary is nominated for striker and player of the year.

Joining the Bayelsa Queens striker are Gift Monday of FC Robo nominated for player and striker of the year and Patience Adjetey of Delta Queens nominated for midfielder and player of the year.

Other categories to be awarded include defender of the year and coach of the year.
