The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will unveil the official theme song of the 2023 African Cup of Nations on Thursday.
The draw for the competition is slated for Thursday and the theme song will also be unveiled.
“The official AFCON anthem will be unveiled on the occasion of the official draw scheduled for October 12, marking the start of the African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast 2023”, CAF said.
Nigeria hip-hop star Yemi Alade is among the artists who produce and perform the theme song.
“The artists selected for the composition of this musical work (Magic System, Mohamed Ramadan & Yemi Aladé) visited the Ivory Coast on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, to present the song to the officials and thank them for their trust”, CAF added.
