9th Assembly: Osun Deputy Chief Wihp Ogunkanmi, Congratulates Ahmed Lawan, Osun Federal Lawmakers

The Deputy Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ayedire state constituency, Hon Gbenga Ogunkanmi has congratulated Senator Ahmed Lawan for his emergence as the President of the 9th Senate.

Ogunkanmi described his emergence as a hope for Nigeria’s democracy adding that Lawan will facilitate mutual understanding between the Executive and Legislature.

In a media chat after the inauguration of 9th National Assembly in Abuja on Tuesday, the Osun Assembly Deputy Chief Whip also felicitated with Dr. Ajibola Basiru representing Osun central Senatorial district and Senator Adelere Oriolowo representing Osun West Senatorial District charging them to justify their election by contributing their quota to the development of their constituencies and the nation at large.

The parliamentarian also congratulated Hon. Yinusa Amobi representing Ayedire, Iwo and Olaoluwa Federal Constituency who was also inaugurated as a member of the House of Reps.

Ogunkanmi prayed for the success of the APC federal lawmakers urging them to put in their best to support the development of the country.

He admonished Nigerian citizens to pray for continued development and promote the peace and progress of the country.
